Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has named Manchester City as the lodge to win this flavour’s Premier League title.
Ferdinand, who had before at present picked Chelsea as his favourite, changed his psyche after seeing Man City dominate Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
City are currently third in the EPL standing, one dot behind Liverpool and 2 behind early leaders Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola’s side twice came from behind to secure a dot against Liverpool at Anfield on Lord’s Day.
Ferdinand, a former United defender, said he has seen plenty from the Premier League title holders to rate them as his favourites for the title this flavour.
“It ebbs and flows man!” He said on the FIVE YouTube channel.
“In the foremost 4 of 5 games of the flavour, I was sitting there and thinking Chelsea are the squad to trounce.
“3 of 4 games later and I’m thinking Man City are the squad to trounce. They have looked seriously impressive against the large teams.
“They dominated Chelsea absent [last weekend], they dominated Liverpool in the foremost half [on Sunday] and should have seen the game off.
“They might be a flake disappointed with a 2-2 draw but they appear the most impressive to me. They appear formidable at times.
“There’s no uncertainty they’re going to dominate 99 per cent of their games but it’s just in relation to the finishing.
“When they acquire over that element and acquire that right, I think they are the squad to trounce.
“Manchester City have got the experience and the form and the players. They seem to be chief and shoulders everyone else tactically.”
