Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has issued a Premier League title warning to Liverpool next the Reds’ 4-0 win over Arsenal on Lord’s Day.
Neville feels it will be a ‘existent job and hard’ for Liverpool to compete with Chelsea and Manchester City for the Premier League title despite thrashing Mikel Arteta’s side over the weekend.
According to him, whether Jurgen Klopp’s side lost some of their key players from the starting XI, and so they could autumn behind Chelsea and Man City in the title race.
Chelsea presently tops the Premier League tabular array with 3 points ahead of second-place Man City and 4 points ahead of third-place Liverpool after 12 games.
“I think it is most hard for Liverpool because they are so finely tuned. I think the other 2 [Chelsea and Manchester CIty] have bigger squads and superior squads,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
“Liverpool, as I said before in the flavor, the best XI, that does not alter, but whether 2 or 3 go lost, and so it does cause a existent job.
“What Liverpool will want is to be within a dot or 2, with 4, 5 or 6 games to go.
“With that history and that tradition and Jurgen Klopp’s free energy, I think and so they’ll go really unsafe.
“But I think to acquire there will be a bigger struggle for them than it would be for Chelsea and [Manchester] City.”
