Former Arsenal star, Ray Parlour has predicted the Premier League highest goalscorer for this flavor.
The former midfielder is backing Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah to goal the flavor with a higher goalscoring tally than Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
Giving his reasons for this, the former Arsenal man pointed out that the Liverpool forward is likely to play to a greater extent games than the Portuguese.
Salah has already netted 5 times in his opening 6 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool.
30-six-year-old Ronaldo has on his have scored 3 in the Premier League and in one case in the Champions League.
Parlour, a former Middlesbrough and Hull City star is confident Salah will come up out on top.
“Who will score to a greater extent goals this flavor? Good interrogation. I think Salah might score a few to a greater extent goals than Ronaldo,” Parlour told talkSPORT.
“The only reason is that I don’t think he [Ronaldo] can play [every game]. Whether he does play every game, it would be an amazing achievement for a 36-year-old.
“But I think you’ve just got to care him a little fleck to a greater extent than Salah. Salah, whether he’s fit, he’s playing.”
“It’s just the recovery time,” he explained.
“The thing Ole has got to do with Ronaldo is acquire him out there for the first of all hr, do the business, acquire a goal, do whatever you got to do for the first of all hr and and then we take you off. Repose him for the lastly half an hr whether possible.
“Is he superior to come up off the bench or start the game? He’s got to start the game for me.”
