Former Real Madrid player, Michael Owen, has predicted some of the English Premier League, EPL, games that will be played this weekend.
Liverpool will host Manchester City at Anfield on Sun eve, piece Manchester United will take on Everton on Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford.
Chelsea will host Southampton on Saturday at Stamford Bridge, and Arsenal will face Brighton in an absent Premier League tie on Saturday eve.
Providing his predictions, Owen told BetVictor: “Everton haven’t won at Old Trafford since 2013 and I don’t think they’ll be winning this one. I’m predicting a 3-1 Man United win.”
Commenting on the Chelsea vs Southampton match, Owen said, “Chelsea were disappointing against Man City. But I felt they were a little too defensive against Man City and didn’t really lay a glove on them.
“The Saints have had some good results against the large teams this flavour, with draws against City and United, but I don’t think they will acquire anything hither. I reckon Chelsea will be too strong and will win this comfortably.”
Speaking on the Brighton vs Arsenal game, Owen said, “Brighton have a history of beingness a fleck of a bogey squad for Arsenal and the Seagulls are flying right at present. I think Brighton can narrowly win this.”
On the Liverpool vs Manchester City fixture, Owen said, “Liverpool have an outstanding tape at Anfield against City. City’s win at Anfield finally flavour was their first of all win at Anfield since 2003 and there have been some famed wins for the Reds in that time. I fancy Liverpool in these large games, so it is no surprise I’m predicting a 2-1 Liverpool win hither! ”
