Former England striker, Michael Owen, has claimed that Chelsea is ‘carrying’ sure individuals such as Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
Owen made the claim next Chelsea’s 3-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Dominicus.
He also described Chelsea as a ‘ruthlessly efficient’ squad, adding that Tuchel’s side is just ‘brutal’ this flavor.
“Whether I could depict them [Chelsea] in one way it would be: efficient,” Owen told Premier League Productions.
“They do not seem similar conceding a thing, they don’t seem similar scoring 5 or 6 goals, but they are just brutal, ruthlessly efficient at the instant.
“They have got a centre-forward at present [Lukaku], who you await to cause danger every time he gets the ball, a focal dot they can smash it to, they’ve got runners off him, they can cross the ball and await him to be in there.
“They have got a real solid base of operations in midfield, a large squad, they just seem similar they are a well-oiled machine at the min.
“Fifty-fifty one or 2 injuries, as long as it’s not to the main man upfront, they seem similar they have got cover in every place.
“They are really carrying one or 2 players that aren’t really hitting it off; Werner’s not been a good signing as of yet, interrogation marks in relation to Havertz, he keeps playing him but I am waiting to reckon him set in some really good performances.
“So there are still a couplet of players you await to reckon a fleck to a greater extent out of, but fifty-fifty without them they are just steamrolling.”
