Arsenal chief, Mikel Arteta, has said he was at his “most minimal” point this season following a 5-0 loss at Manchester City last month.
The hefty misfortune at the Etihad left the Gunners lower part of the Premier League.
Arteta saw Arsenal lose their initial three association matches, before Saturday’s 1-0 home success over Norwich City lifted them to 16th.
The Spaniard has now uncovered how his loved ones helped him cope.
He said: “You are annoyed with yourself, you are furious, you are tired.
“You simply need to hit yourself since you’re not doing things right and you’re not getting the result you think you merit. After the misfortune against City presumably I was at the lowest.
“You begin to attempt to dissect things, you get various thoughts … And then, at that point begins the significance of having the family I have, the guardians and the companions I have. In troublesome minutes they show their responsibility in your relationship with them.
“After that it is each individual that works in this club, through and through, and the energy they attempt to give … and that it is so reassuring to see them with the yearning to change the situation.”
