President Muhammadu Buhari, Tuesday, in Daura, Katsina State, gave two cows from his homestead, 20 sacks of rice and N1, 000,000 (1,000,000 naira) to individuals from the National Youth Service Corp, NYSC that visited him.
Buhari said that the plan profoundly affects Nigerians, adding that it expands the skyline of residents, opens up promising circumstances and upgrades comprehension of social differences.
Buhari talked at his ranch style house when he recuperated the NYSC individuals serving in Daura, who gave proper respect to check the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The President told the corps individuals that he had reliably praised General Yakubu Gowon rtd, for making the scheme.
“Everytime I meet with previous Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, as of late, I actually compliment him for the drive of the NYSC. The NYSC is staggering in numerous ways.
“Some of you have come from Port Harcourt, Lagos and Calabar and you would now be able to feel the warmth of Daura and that it is so near the desert,” he said.
The President said the NYSC plot was thoroughly examined to join the country through understanding.
“I feel emphatically about the NYSC and I am wishing you all the absolute best. I guarantee you that you will be greatly improved as Nigerians after your experience,” he added.
According to his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari gave the NYSC individuals two cows from his ranch, 20 packs of rice and N1, 000,000 (1,000,000 naira).
