The Economic and Financial Commission, EFCC, has made explanations on the wellbeing status of its Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
DAILY POST had detailed that Bawa, on Thursday reportedly collapsed while conveying a discourse at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Bawa had apparently quit talking abruptly while giving an altruism message at the National Identity Day festivity at the villa.
He was subsequently helped to his seat by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami, and other senior authorities at the occasion and later removed to a hospital.
However, EFFC representative, Wilson Uwujaren in an assertion delivered after the occurrence said his supervisor is solidness and hearty.
“This explanation became important after an episode today September 16, 2021, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a generosity message to the National Identity Day festivity, felt unwell and needed to get back to his seat, Uwajeren said.
“He has since gotten clinical consideration and is expected back at his work area,” he said.
