NEWS UPDATE: Doctor gives condition for Christian Eriksen to play for Inter Milan again

Dr. Francesco Braconaro, an individual from the Italian football league’s clinical advisory group, has given conditions for Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen, to play for Inter Milan again.

According to Braconaro, Eriksen can’t play for Inter Milan again except if he has a defibrillator removed.

Eriksen fell on the pitch during his country’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland last month in the wake of enduring a cardiovascular arrest.

The 29-year-old has since been fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).

The gadget is fitted under the patient’s skin, and it monitors the heart rate.

If a strange musicality is distinguished, the ICD conveys an electric shock to reestablish a typical heartbeat.

“Christian Eriksen can’t be given the all-unmistakable to play in Italy,” Braconaro said on a public broadcast in Napoli.

“If the player has the defibrillator eliminated, in this manner affirming the pathology can be settled, then, at that point he can get back to play for Inter [Milan].”

Eriksen’s flow manage Inter Milan will end in the late spring of 2024.
