The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Plateau State has denounced the killing at Rukuba street in Jos North Local Government Area.
On Saturday, a guard of transports passing on workers was assaulted. 22 people were killed and scores injured.
The state government has declared a curfew in the LGA and two others.
In an assertion on Sunday, CAN State Chairman, Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo encouraged security offices to capture the perpetrators.
Lubo additionally lamented the killings in Bassa, Riyom, Jos South and Barkin Ladi nearby government areas.
CAN said each human existence is valuable and that the homicide of any human, paying little heed to their personality and alliance, is unacceptable.
The body sympathized with the families expired and the wounded.
The authority charged security specialists to guarantee regularity is reestablished in grieved areas.
“We ask security organizations to quickly capture every one of those required, to stop the unnecessary killings,” Lubo added.
