A Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Monday has remanded a 21-year-old understudy, Chidinma Ojukwu and one Adedapo Quadri for thirty days at a restorative place for supposed murder.
Ojukwu and Quadri, 40, are confronting preliminary for purportedly killing Mr Usifo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV.
Mrs Adeola Adedayo, the Chief Magistrate, provided the request after the Prosecutor, Mr Cyril Ajifor, spoke to the court to remand the two of them to empower the police to finish the investigation.
Adedayo likewise coordinated that the case record be sent to the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legitimate advice.
She, nonetheless, deferred the case until September 5 for mention.
Ajifor had told the court that the respondents purportedly dedicated the offenses on June 16, at No. 19, Adewale Oshin St., Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
He affirmed that Ojukwu and Quadri, contrived to kill Ataga and took his telephones, PC and money esteemed at N3.8m.
On arraignment on Monday, the police had brought Ojukwu, Quadri and five different litigants to court.
The other five respondents are Obafemi Disu, 42; Chioma Egbuchi, 28; Onoh Ojukwu, 57; Ifeoluwa Olowu, 24 and Olutayo Abayomi, 23.
But the judge decided that the indictment should isolate the charge of Ojukwu and Quadri from the other five litigants before arraignment.
Adedayo said Ojukwu and Quadri ought to be summoned for scheme, murder and taking while others ought to be improved for purportedly getting taken property, opposing public officials and endeavoring to debase justice.
The arraignment isolated the charges and engaged the court to dock the other five litigants before the finish of Monday’s sitting.
