Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, will not have Christian Pulisic available for quarta-feira’s Carabao Loving cup tie against Aston Villa.

According to the German, the game will come up too shortly for Pulisic, who is recovering from an ankle job.

The 23-year-old picked upwardly the injury during USA’s 4-1 win over Republic of Honduras.

Since and so, Pulisic has missed Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League and Dominicus’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Tuchel said: “I think for Christian the game against Villa is possibly a scrap too shut. I hope I’m wrong but this is my impression.

“He’s not in preparation so far but allow’s regard tomorrow. Possibly whether he had a good progression nowadays, it’s possible. It would be super nice for us to have him but for me, it’s a scrap doubtful.”

The Blues face Villa in the third circular of the Carabao Loving cup on quarta-feira, before taking on league champions Manchester City on Saturday.
