President Muhammadu Buhari has denounced assault on voyagers from a strict occasion in Bauchi State who were going through Rukuba, close to Jos, Plateau State.
The 22 casualties were in transit from the ‘Yearly Zikr supplications’ in Bauchi State when they were attacked on Saturday.
Reacting, Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a proclamation on Saturday said the assaults on guiltless residents was unsatisfactory, egregious, and remain in complete inconsistency to the lessons of the incomparable religions.
He expressed that the episode was an immediate, shameless and insidiously roused assault on individuals from a local area practicing their privileges and with the apparent readiness, it was clear the assault was an effectively thought out and set up attack on a known objective, area and strict influence of the travellers.
He added that Buhari has requested security organizations to fish out the culprits and carry them to justice.
Buhari additionally mourned with groups of the victims.
He noticed that the Federal Government will keep on liaising intimately with the nearby specialists including security, the police, and administrative offices as current realities of the tragic occurrence proceed to unfold.
