The Niger Delta Congress (NDC) is continuing onward with its interest for self-assurance and demand that oil and other regular assets be constrained by the people.
The NDC has affirmed that the marking of the Niger Delta Peoples Charter will begin on Monday November 1, 2021.
Ovunda Eni, the representative, made the declaration in an assertion on Tuesday.
The alliance of territorial bodies put the every one of the ethnic identities of the six states in the South-South on notice.
Eni reviewed the gathering hung on October 8 at the Ijaw House Complex in Yenegoa, the Bayelsa capital.
He clarified that the draft duplicate of the Niger Delta Peoples Charter was collectively taken on as a functioning document.
The NDC has now finished up the harmonization interaction of all suggestions sent to the secretariat.
“It is our firm conviction that this Charter will establish the framework for the cycles that will birth another future”, Eni noted.
The NDC said the point was to join individuals “towards accomplishing shared expectations and goals of asset control and self-determination”.
The body charged individuals not to be flustered by instability and different difficulties in Nigeria.
The proclamation advised them to expect the appearance of the Charter in their networks and effectively participate in the mass signing.
