Ahead of the sit-at-home request given by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) tomorrow Monday, there is currently a climate of disarray in the Biafra group.

This is as report arose on Sunday that the gathering has suspended the sit-at-home dissent planned for later, Monday, August 7.

IPOB was cited to have clarified that they took the choice because of the National Examination Council, NECO, assessment for junior auxiliary schools.

The secessionist bunch noticed that another date for the dissent would be imparted later.

A articulation on Sunday endorsed by Nnamdi Kanu’s more youthful sibling, Kanunta Kanu, guaranteed they inclined to supplications from people and gatherings that the request be suspended to permit understudies in Igbo land to take an interest in the NECO examination.

“IPOB has paid attention to supplications from benevolent people and gatherings inside and outside Biafra land that we consider the destiny of our youngsters who will be associated with the NECO Exam and in light of that, we chose to move grounds over the sit-at-home request,” it read in part.

However, when DAILY POST contacted IPOB’s spokeman, Emma Powerful, he said Kanunta’s counter request ought to be ignored.

“The proclamation I gave recently remains, there is no backpedaling on the sit-at-home request tomorrow. I’m the IPOB representative, Kanunta represents their family,” Powerful disclosed to DAILY POST.

IPOB proclaimed the sit-at-home in fortitude with its kept chief, Nnamdi Kanu.

The fight was to be noticed each Monday all through Igbo land, beginning from August 9, until their chief is released.
