NEWS UPDATE: Anambra: Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB never said election won’t hold – Abaribe

Senate Minority Leader, Eyinnaya Abaribe, has uncovered that the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu and his gathering never said political decision ought not hold in Anambra State.

Abaribe said fifth reporters are behind the no political race request and not Kanu or IPOB.

Speaking during a municipal event with the authority and understudies of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka, Abaribe said Kanu’s legal counselors affirmed that the request didn’t come from their leader.

“Who provided the request that there will be no political race? IPOB has never said that there will be no political race in Anambra. It is the handwork of fifth editorialists,” Abaribe said.

There has been pressure over the arranged lead of the November sixth governorship political decision in Anambra State.

Rumours getting out and about have it that IPOB proclaimed that the impending political decision will not hold.

However, IPOB has denied providing such a request, focusing on that it steers clear of Nigeria’s discretionary system.

Meanwhile, the dissident gathering had requested a sit-at-home in Anambra State, beginning from November 5th.

The request is pointed toward influencing the Federal Government to release Kanu.
