NEWS UPDATE: Anambra: IPOB preparing ground for state of emergency – CSOs condemn sit-at-home

A alliance of common society associations in the South-East has asked the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to promptly pull out the sit-at-home request it gave in front of the Anambra State governorship election.

The political race, booked for November 6, is currently under danger with the IPOB requesting a sit-at-home from November 5 to November 10.

At a global question and answer session in Enugu, on Sunday, the CSOs said should the request be completed, the Federal Government would have no choice other than to force a highly sensitive situation on the state and the residents would be a definitive losers.
