No fewer than 3 suspected human parts dealers have been arrested by the operatives of Amotekun corps in Oyo Province.
DAILY POST reports that the suspects were arrested for allegedly killing a 73-year-old man.
It was gathered that the 3 suspects connived to kill Adeniyi Adebisi Samuel in Ibadan.
The suspects include Olalekan Akande, Ismail Muraina and one other.
They were paradedat by Amotekun Corps at Dandaru Area of Mokola in Ibadan on Tuesday.
The Province Deputy Commandant of Amotekun, Kazeem Akinro, confirmed that the suspects were arrested in connective with the killing of the deceased.
He said, “We heard a written report in relation to some suspected ritualists yesterday eve.
“We started the investigation and we arrested the first off suspect in his house who later took us to the other suspects.
“The suspects confirmed that they kidnapped a man along Amuloko-Akanran route, slaughtered him and removed his top dog.
“The top dog was and so given to one Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju who needs it for rituals. We apprehended Abdulrasheed but he had already burnt the top dog into ashes”.
Akinro said one of the suspects, Olalekan Akande confessed that he used charm to kidnap the victim.
He added that the suspects would be handed over to police force after investigation is concluded.
“We are still investigating and one time we are done with our possess investigation, we shall paw the instance over to the police force afterward”.
