The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel on Wednesday, marked the counter open eating bill into law, accommodating the foundation of farms in the state.
The State House of Assembly had on Tuesday passed the bill into law.
The Speaker of the House, Aniekan Bassey, had coordinated the Clerk of the House, Mrs Mandu Umoren to impart the Assembly’s choice to the Governor for his assent.
The Governor in the wake of marking the Bill into Law said the new law is no respecter of people regardless of status or calibre.
He taught pertinent specialists of government to guarantee that the bill is completely executed and implemented focusing on that guilty parties should be brought to book accordingly.
Speaking on the advantages of the law, the lead representative said, ” The new Law will advance current procedures in animal cultivation, forestall the annihilation of ranches by meandering steers while lessening conflicts and killings among herders and ranchers in the state.
“It will likewise advance global prescribed procedures in animals organization, guideline and control in the state, among other things.”
