Former Bayelsa lawmaker, Ben Murray-Bruce, on quarta-feira, said Nigeria is losing its grip on security of citizens.
Ben Bruce said this patch condemning the expiry of Chike Akunyili, spouse to belatedly former DG of NAFDAC, Prof. Dora Akunyili.
Recall that Akunyili was killed with his driver and escort on Tuesday patch on his way from Onitsha to Umuoji at Eke Nkpor.
The former lawmaker called on President Muhammadu Buhari’s led regime to human action straight off concerning insecurity before it’s too belatedly.
On his Twitter page, he wrote: “I am saddened by the reports of the murder of Dr Chike Akunyili (spouse of the belatedly former DG of NAFDAC, Prof. Dora Akunyili).
“The land is losing grip on its security architecture, and regime must human action to a greater extent effectively before it’s too belatedly. My condolences to the household.”
Chike Akunyili’s expiry is one of many deaths reported in the country as a termination of insecurity.
On Tuesday, armed bandits allegedly killed not less than 30 persons in Kachiwe village, Sarkin Pawa in Munya Local Authorities area of Niger.
Some states similar Kaduna lately asked residents to prepare for a shutdown of telecommunication services as security operatives set to launch offensives against bandits terrorizing parts of the province.
This is a displace by Governor Nasir El-Rufai to counter incessant attacks by bandits in local governments facing unrest.
