The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has captured low maintenance 400 level understudy of University of Benin, UNIBEN, for dealing drugs.
NDLEA’s Director, Media and Advocacy, Mr Femi Babafemi, in an assertion gave on Sunday in Abuja said the understudy who is likewise a nursing mother was rearrested with scarcely seven days after she was allowed bail.
Part of the assertion read, “A nursing mother who professes to be low maintenance 400-level understudy of International Studies and Diplomacy at the University of Benin, Mariam Dirisu had prior been captured for dealing with 5kg skunk and 8.1grams of Molly.
“In the most recent turn of events, NDLEA Delta Command captured a similar Mariam on Saturday, Oct. 30 for putting orders for medications to be conveyed to her from Lagos even while on bail for the previous offence.
“She was captured scarcely seven days after she was allowed bail for endeavoring to sneak medications covered in cassava flour feast called ‘akpu’ into NDLEA cell for a suspect.
“The 35-year-old mother of a two-month-old child was first captured on Oct. 21 by the Edo Command of NDLEA.”
Babafemi cited the Chairman, NDLEA, resigned Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa as teaching that the suspect be directed and delivered quickly in light of the youthful child she was carrying.
