Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has unveiled that the All Progressives Congress, APC, would separate before the 2023 elections.
Melaye said APC is anything but an ideological group yet a Non-Governmental Organization, NGO.
He additionally clarified that the decision party confronted an inescapable collapse due to the “wrongdoing” of the Governor Mai Mala-Buni-drove Caretaker Committee.
The previous APC clan leader noticed that Buni’s arrangement as overseer executive contradicts Section 183 of the 1999 Constitution just as the Article 17(iv) of APC Constitution.
Melaye, an ardent pundit of the APC government talked in an explanation he named: “The Ilegality or in any case of the arrangement of Governor Mai Mala Buni as the APC National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.”
The articulation peruses halfway: “That is the reason I closed in a large number of my meetings that APC is a NGO and not a political party.
“A party that has no utilitarian National Working Committee and no Board of Trustees in six (6) a long time comes up short on the essential fixings that makes up an ideological group by law. This will bring forth a collapse that must come.”
