Project Introduction and Role:

The UK Support to Health improvement in Nigeria through the Lafiya Program is a versatile, demand-led tactical partnership with the Nigerian Federal and targeted State federal governments created to address equity, improve and sustain health results for the most susceptible States with the worst health stats. The Operations Team works carefully with the Technical Team to support efficient program delivery through the arrangement of seriously requiredproject management support Whilst the objective stays efficient and effective delivery with a lean and fit-for-purpose team that guarantees Value for Cash in delivery, it is anticipated that the Operations Assistants will bring abilities and experience to support the program deliver on secret result locations.

Area: Abuja

Main Tasks and Duties:

  • Deal With the Technical Team to coordinate activities throughout Lafiya states.
  • Support with the main management of flight reservations for experts and stakeholders.
  • Support the FACO/Operations Partner in administering project activity/staff travel advances.
  • Support preparing of activity memo and budget and track procedures causing approval and execution of activities.
  • Manage the reservation of lodging for Lafiya occasions.
  • Organise and provide report of conferences, workshops held.
  • Provide preliminary evaluation of all billings/payment demands and start prompt action in line with Project procedures/processes towards processing such payments.
  • Follow up and confirm visits with stakeholders and associated bodies.
  • Provide cover in case of the lack of the FACO/Operations Partner from task.
  • Send month-to-month report of activities carried out.
  • Any other associated activities to be designated by the FACO/Operations Partner.

Deliverables

  • Professionals engaged for numerous activities supported in activity execution.
  • Activity memo and budget prepared, and procedures tracked causing approval and execution of activities.
  • Conferences and workshops arranged, and reports offered the factor to consider of the Activity Manager

MDAs, CSOs and NGOs visits are followed up. * Month-to-month report of activities carried out sent quickly.

  • Submission of month-to-month timesheets.

Needed Qualifications:
