Task Overview/Summary: The Finance Assistant will be an essential member of the Yobe finance team and will contribute towards the accomplishment of the field’s finance goals. Under the instructions of the Finance Officer, the Finance Assistant keeps the cash books and is accountable for the accounts payable functions of the department.

Significant Obligations:

  • Maintain both tough and soft folders for barrel report, PAYE report, NSITF report and WHT Report.
  • Guarantee that all cash and bank payments files are correctly submitted and stalled in the archive prompt and precisely.

Qualifications

Task Requirements:

HND/BSc in Accounting or Business Administration.
Minimum of 2 years operating in the finance function.
Experience dealing with NGOs (chosen however not a requirement);
Ability to work under pressure and manage several top priorities.
Flair for information. Able to communicate efficiently.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to information.
Strong Computer system abilities (MS Word, Excel,)
Need to have the ability to work conveniently in a loosely structured however intricate work environment, working and focusing on several jobs.
Able to communicate efficiently (composed and spoken) in English with Program staff.
Great supervisory abilities, time management and social abilities
