HOW TO CHECK/RETRIEVE YOUR BVN USING YOUR MOBILE PHONE

Many people, however, have trouble getting their BVN and using financial services because they forget or don’t save it.

Fortunately, you don’t have to go into the bank to get your BVN. You may verify your BVN number on your phone from anywhere without jeopardizing your security. After that, you can save it for later use.

In Nigeria, all telecom carriers allow consumers to execute this simple operation.

On MTN, Airtel, GLO, and 9mobile, how can you check your BVN?

Before you utilize this service, double-check that the line you want to use is the same one you used to register the BVN. You can’t check your BVN on an Airtel line if you enrolled with MTN.

After it has been formed, you can check your BVN using the following simple steps:

1. Enter the USSD code *565*0# into your phone dialer.

2. Wait for the 11-digit number to appear.

3. Make a copy of the number. You have the option of copying it for immediate use or saving it for later use. However, the service is not free, and the transaction will cost you 20 naira.

It’s worth noting that confirming your BVN is the same method for all network lines, also for all banks. As a GTB or First bank customer, you use the same code to check your BVN because everyone is given a single BVN that is used by all banks. This implies that even if you have accounts with all of Nigeria’s banks, you’ll only have one BVN to link them all together.
