The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, on Wednesday, stated it had secured the ultimate forfeiture of 324 properties recovered from the Kano State Pension Fund Trustees.
Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal Excessive Court docket in Abuja gave the order of ultimate forfeiture whereas ruling on a movement by the EFCC to that impact.
The EFCC had advised the decide that the properties have been “moderately suspected to be proceeds of illegal actions of the Kano State Pension Fund Trustees.”
The Director, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, in a correspondence obtained by our correspondent on Wednesday, stated the properties embody 168 properties located at Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam, Bandirawo Metropolis, Kano; 122 homes at Sheikh Nasiru Kabara (Amana Metropolis), Kano and 38 homes at Sheikh Khalifa Ishaq Rabiu Metropolis, Kano.
Uwujaren added, “The 168 homes at Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam Bandirawo Metropolis are made up of 55 models of two-bedroom semi-detached homes; 51 models of three-bedroom homes; seven models of three-bedroom transformed; 17 models of three-bedroom carport; three models of four-bedroom duplex; 9 models of five-bedroom duplex and 22 models of three-bedroom green-roof.
“The 122 homes at Sheikh Nasiru Kabara, Kano embody 14 models of two-bedroom semi-detached homes; 62 models of two-bedroom semi-detached homes; 4 models of three-bedroom transformed; 13 models of three-bedroom transformed ; three models of three-bedroom indifferent homes; 11 models of three-bedroom indifferent homes, three models of three-bedroom carport, 5 models of three-bedroom carport two models of three-bedroom inexperienced roof; three models of four-bedroom carport and two models of four-bedroom Pergola.
“The 38 homes at Sheikh Khalifa Ishaq Rabiu Metropolis, Kano embody 19 models of three-bedroom bungalow; 5 models of three inexperienced roof; six models of four-bedroom duplex, two models of four-bedroom BQ, one unit of four-bedroom duplex and 5 models of five-bedroom duplex.”
